Yes a sun strip may be installed however every vehicle is different. The law states that you can drop 40mm into the windscreen wiper zone. We typically advise our customers when they turn up for their appointment.
How long does it take?
The process usually takes about two to three hours depending on the vehicle, however endeavour to be as flexible as possible to fit in with your availability and can often find alternative options that can reduce this time further where necessary.
Can I tint my windscreen?
No, We do not fit films to any vehicle windscreens unless there is a medical exemption. Sunstrips can be applied to the top of your windscreen as long as they do not obstruct your vision in any way.
Does the tint bubble up over time?
No, we use only use the highest quality films imported from the USA. The adhesives are specially designed to withstand extreme temperatures. Bubbles appear from poorer quality film adhesives breaking down
When I come to sell my vehicle can the tint be removed?
Yes, of course. Due to the quality of our films, all can be removed cleanly after many years. Just give us a line and we can provide the removal service for you.
Can I open my windows straight after installation?
We recommend that you allow 5 working days before window use. This is to allow the film to dry and gives the adhesive time to cure.
